My mp3 player has dead batteries and is missing right now, plus I don't know how to turn shuffle on. Instead of using my mp3 player, I just used what I have on my computer. This is not a fair evaluation of the music I listen to because I have such an eclectic taste in music there is just no way you can get it unless you live with me. My husband can't even wrap his head around the calculus needed to estimate the number of CDs I own. I love soundtracks the best (original score, not the pop mix some movies make) and I have tons- Harry Potter, Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera, etc. I love classical music, but I don't happen to have any on my computer. I own music I recorded myself as well as orchestras and choirs I was in. I also have a lot of 60's music because I wanted to be a hippy when I was in junior high. There is no way you can get a true understanding of my musical taste with this survey. Well, that is my disclaimer; go ahead and read if you dare.
