2019 Interviews

I know. It has been a hot minute since I updated the blog. I haven't even bothered to keep up with the custom domain so many of the links are broken. With that being said, remember those cute keepsake interviews I do every year? (These links work)

Curriculum 2018-2019

It's my favorite time of year: time to go shopping for next year's curriculum!  When I went to look at what we have been doing this year, I realized I never actually posted what we are using here on the blog. So here I am, just a few months late.

The Face in the Wall

By: Mommy, Sebastian, and Kaelyn

While Sarah was reading her favorite book in the library, she heard a raucous sound off to her left. “What was that?” It had been quiet in the library, in the late night. The fire had been keeping her warm and slightly sleepy. Her brother, John, who was weird, had been playing chess with their dog, Poofle, because he did not have any other friends. It was after she started drifting off to sleep when she heard the loud ruckus.

Epic Baby Foxes

by Sebastian and Kaelyn

Baby foxes, which are called kits, are born in the spring. The mommy gives birth to three to seven pups annually. The average fox in the wild has a lifespan of fourteen to sixteen years. The mother nurses the pups for about six months. The newborn fox pup has its eyes closed approximately one month. When they yelp, that means they are crying or ready for battle. Keep an eye out next spring, because you might see a fox kit.
