I have so many things to be thankful for this year. Where do I begin?

- God loves me!
- I have a husband and son who love me despite my shenanigans and partial insanity at times. They love my eccentricities and share my craziness. They make me laugh and I make them laugh. Laughter and love get us through any hardships while strengthening and nurturing our family.
- My dog adores me and I can do no wrong in his eyes.
- My extended family is healthy and well. I even have gotten to see my older sister the last 2 weekends with an upcoming visit for Thanksgiving. It has been a LONG time since I have seen her this much.
- I have a new nephew; I am an aunt!
- I have lost over 16 pounds since 8/30 ! I am a size 12 again! I am finally at my pre-pregnancy weight. This makes me feel healthier, live fuller, and enjoy my surroundings. I have become a better wife and mother because of my decision to be a healthy woman.
- I have a house, my husband has a job, and my son is growing up.
- The orchestra I am in had a concert and I remember why I went into music in the first place. I love playing viola/violin/cello/piano and I promise myself never to take such a long break again.
- I have the ingredients for a spectacular cheesecake on hand- it will be made today and will be eaten tomorrow. There is so much thanks in just a single bite of my cheesecake.
- I had a summer of healthful, organic, CSA produce. I ate so much good food and powered my body for the winter.
- VACATION IN 9 DAYS TO FLORIDA!!!! Disney, here we come!
- I am happy with my life. I am content with where we are and what we are doing as a family unit and as an individual. I feel no desire to look forward to the future, but instead, to enjoy the day as it is. I want to live these days because soon they will be memories. I plan on living each moment as much as possible so that I can look back and smile on everything we have done.
- My hair is long and curly. I know that is a weird thing to be thankful for, but there are a lot of people that can't have long hair, and I am thankful for my hair. It makes me feel pretty; there is nothing wrong with that.
- LUSH! Need I say more?
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." ~ Buddha
