Thin Patience

It seems the last week with Sebastian has been a roller coaster of good and bad moments.  We don't know what is going on with him right now, but he is having a hard time controlling himself.  He can be sweet and charming one moment and then screaming and freaking out the next moment.

I think part of his problem is that we have lacked a normal schedule since mid-July.  Although he hates to do the same thing everyday, he needs the consistency we have been lacking for weeks.  This week is already not looking good for a schedule and next week is out of the norm as well.  I need to try my hardest to give him some semblance of normalcy if I expect to get him to behave.

We have been lacking in any school work for a few weeks as well. That has become part of our schedule that we are lacking.   It is his downtime while Kaelyn naps.  Since Sebastian himself no longer naps, he needs this quiet time with me to relax and rejuvenate.  Yes- school work is relaxing for him.  We play board games, read together, make puzzles and crafts.  We need to get back to our play-work!
