Help me to...

Dear God, I know that you are there for me. This difficult season of life has me worn down, but You are still good. Help me to...

Thank you God for all things especially....

Where did October go because today is November first already! There have been months this past year that felt like they were going to last forever; however, October was one of the fastest months for me because of our packed schedule. November is a great month to sit back a moment and take time to be grateful.  Life of a Homeschool Mom has made a fantastic 25 Days of Thankfulness Challenge, which started today. I am going to use her email devotional and bible verse suggestion to journal my way through the next 25 days. Since I am getting closer to my due date, crankiness and an ungrateful attitude is bound to start sneaking in, so I am hoping this will help to keep me focused on the things that matter and have an attitude of gratitude in my life.

33 Days to Morning Glory- End of Week 4

With only a few days left until my Consecration to Jesus through Mary, I wanted to post another little update. This past week I read about Mary through Pope St. John Paul II. The week before this I read about Mary through St. Teresa of Calcutta's eyes. Both of these saints are Marian powerhouses and helped me to see Mary clearer.

33 Days to Morning Glory- End of Week 2

I am almost halfway through my preparation to Marian Consecration. I am proud of myself for not missing a single day or reading, reflections, or prayers in the past 14 days. One of the biggest changes I have noticed in my life is a rearranging of my priorities. I  have made my prayers a priority, and they haven't been a hassle to get in. A little done in the morning, at lunch, and before bed. I just need a couple minutes each time and then I let myself ponder the rest of the day. I don't have time for long, extended moments of prayer or reading right now in this season of my life, so I am enjoying these nibblets of time I am carving out here and there. I have to thank Mother Mary for helping me find these times and also inspiring me to keep on trucking, even on those stressful days.
