First Viola Lesson

Sebastian had his first viola lesson today!  He was mostly excited about it.  He only complained about the chin rest- I might get some moleskin to put on the chin rest.  I think he was just being quarrelsome. 

Luckily what he has to practice at home only takes a few minutes, but getting him to do it a few times a day is going to require some willpower on my part.  He likes to be stubborn, so we are going to continue to give him points that he can spend on trading pins throughout the summer.

I'll keep everyone updated with his progress.  Right now he is working on his bow hold, holding the viola, and clapping a rhythm (he renamed "Bubble Bubble Gum Drop" to "Dinosaurs are so cool").
