English Sucks

With such pride, Sebastian exclaims to me, "Hey Mommy!  Circle has the ssss sound!  It starts with an S!!" 

"Well, honey, you are right.  It has the sss sound, but circle starts with a C.  Sometimes a C makes the S sound, like in circle, and sometimes it makes the K sound, like in cat." 

"Circle can start with an S and Cat can start with a K." 

"That makes sense, but English can be tricky."

"I don't like English.  I like dinosaurs."
