Yes! We are back to a normal schedule. Kaelyn has been much more pleasant because of normal nap times. Sebastian is fighting it, but I have to be firm and get him to accept our schedule. Life is easier when it is more predictable during the day.
In our homeschool this week…
We started the school year this week. Sebastian ended up getting sick on the second day, so we took two days off, but yesterday we did two days worth of work, so we'll "catch up" with my plans for next week no problem.
We started making a dinosaur book because he is obsessed with them right now. I also have some dinosaur crafts we will do this upcoming week. I was considering doing a lapbook, but I decided to just do a series of crafts/projects instead. I guess I'm just being lazy and I don't feel like putting it all together in a lapbook.What’s working/not working for us…
So far, the Math-U-See Primer is working for us. Sebastian doesn't love it, but he does the work and I am noticing that he is counting better. The Caillou cd's are not working. He hates them. I think they are too baby for him. I will keep them and use them with Kaelyn when she is a little bigger.
