Happy Birthday, Kaelyn! She turned one on September 1st, and we had her 12 month check up today. She is tiny! She is in the 5% for both height and weight. The doctor told me to "beef her up." All she does is eat all day, so I don't know why she is so tiny. She is 17 1/2 pounds and 27 inches long. Her younger cousin is only 1 1/2 pounds lighter than her, and is only 4 months old! I think he may pass her over the next year.
She has two bottom teeth now and she can walk across the living room. She loves to dance and sing, and has a "talent" for the theatrics.
She can be a handful now. She loves to get into trouble by stealing Sebastian's toys and anything that she can get her hands on. She also likes to take our cellphones and pretend to talk in them.
She loves to eat, but she is not a big fan of fruit. She likes to fake-choke on them. Like I said: she has a talent for the theater. She will eat any carb and most meats. She is okay with veggies so long as she can pick them up and feed herself. She is getting very independent.
Happy Birthday, Kaelyn! You have given us so much love this past year, and you have made our home feel complete. We love you!
Sebastian loves to say "Kaelyn, you are the best baby I could EVER have."
