Lovin' Life

Do you know when I get the best blog ideas? When I am trying to fall asleep. You know what happens after I wake up? I forget the great idea I had formulated the night before. It never fails. I don't remember my ideas from last night either.

Reasons why I love my life:

1. I am loved. I am saved. I am complete. Jesus is King!!
2. My husband is more than I could have ever dreamed. He is an extraordinary father with so much love for his children.
3. Last night Sebastian and I camped out in the living room.  He slept in his tent while I slept on the futon. It was fantastic!I love doing spontaneous things like this that make a huge difference to the kids, even if I think they are trivial.
4. We are able to homeschool. That means I get to spend my days with the kids and Matthew gets the evenings. We are bringing up our kids with the character we expect and we don't have to worry about the negatives of public school destroying our family bonds.
5. My job is amazing! I get to do exactly what I love to do- teach music to some great kids. I also don't have to worry about childcare since I work evenings. This money has come in handy for when we had to replace the dishwasher and then the oven.
6. We have good health, plenty of food, and a sturdy house to live in. We are blessed to not have to worry about the necessities in life.
7. The people in my life are awesome. I have a wonderful extended family and fantastic friends.
8. I have met new friends that open their house to us each week and help us strengthen and reaffirm our faith in the most amazing God we could ever have.
9. My dog is MY dog. He loves me even if I forget to feed him or I don't take him for a walk. He also lets my daughter give him treats.
10. I have thumbs. Seriously. Thumbs are great!
