A conversation with my 3 year old

Me: "Do you think we should let Kaelyn's hair get as long as Rupunzel's?"
Sebastian: "No."
Me: "Why not?"
Sebastian: "Because they didn't respect it."
Me: "They didn't respect her hair?"
Sebastian nods
Me: "What did they do to disrespect her hair?"
Sebastian: "They stepped on it!"
Me: "Good point, Sebastian.  We won't let it grow quite that long."
