What is NotebookingPages.com?

NotebookingPages is a different way to look at homeschooling your family. It is a way to follow your students interests and have them learn in a non-stress environment. These pages make copy work and note taking a little more interesting for everyone involved. There are pages for all subjects too!  There are alphabet pages, Bible and character study, famous people, fine arts, geography, history, holidays, language arts, science and nature, basic lined pages, and "3-D" pages which are similar to a lapbook and adds some flair to a notebook. The possibilities are endless!

The Lifetime Membership is just that. Forever! It enables you to have access to all pages that are currently up as well as any future pages that are made. The lifetime membership program features thousands of pages covering any subject you desire. There are also videos and tips as well as tutorials to help you get started.

How we used it

Upon receiving the Lifetime Membership Program, I was sent a three-step tutorial for the transition of how to use NotebookPages well. It was incredibly helpful to know what to do and how to set up notebooks for the kids and how to do it successfully.

My 9 year old son HATES writing. He loves the composition part and if he dictates for me he can write a whole page report. However, when it comes to handwriting something he composed himself, he tends to do the bare minimum. I want to work on this since he is going into the 4th grade this fall.

One way I tricked my son into writing was by printing out a Father's Day page for the kids. They each wrote a letter to their father to be given to him on Father's Day as a present. I was very happy with their work and their pictures. I even managed to not lose them between when we made these gifts and Father's Day and their father was impressed and appreciative of the letters.



The other packet I downloaded was a Creation and Nature Study packet.  What I loved about it was that each section of the packet had different versions for age level and appropriateness. I was able to make their packets unique to each of them.  They enjoyed working on the nature study and learning about animals they picked. This is meant to not be additional work for anyone. You use these pages along with what you are already learning. NotebookingPages is to help support your learning and not add additional time and constraints to your schedule. I found it a great way to bolster their memory. When we learned about a particular animal type (maybe reptile or mammal) they would then write down and draw what they had learned in the lesson onto their notebook page for the day. Doing that helped them cement the learning in their minds and then other days they could read back over what they had written previous days which was a beautiful way to review without me.
