In my life this week…
This past weekend was the last symphony concert of the season as well as the silent auction. We did very well, doubling our ticket sales for the concert! I was lucky to have so many people willing to help out that the auction went smoothly. It was an amazing weekend, even though I left my iPod touch at the hall and I had to call them up on Monday to get in and look for it. Luckily, I found it. The rest of the week was lazy compared to the hectic weekend we had. I plan on joining a gym today, which excites me. They have free babysitting!In our homeschool this week…
I let him play outside and run around like any 3 year old should do. We played with his Chicka Chicka Boom Boom lapbook we made and just had a low and slow week. This week was full of getting together last minute things for our official start of the school year starting on Monday (or Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday). I made copies, finished lesson planning, and evaluated where I should start with Sebastian. He thought we were playing the whole time because I am tricky like that, lol.Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…
We are planning on going to Hershey Park this weekend since the Boardwalk is finally opening up. Sebastian can't wait to go on the water rides. My sister is coming in from Pittsburgh next week, so I will finally get to meet my new nephew! I can't wait. :)My favorite thing this week was…
Watching Sebastian teach Kaelyn how to clap her hands. How sweet is that? He is a wonderful big brother.

Hey! Well, we are doing some light schooling this summer, with regular home educating starting in August. I'm using "Along the Alphabet Path" on the Serendipity website (you can google it). I like having breaks, and love the idea of year round school - just not sure how to do it yet...so, this is my semi-attempt.
